Church Family

Welcome to Arbuckle View Seventh-day Adventist Church!

At Arbuckle View, you're more than a member. You're family!

Here you will find helpful information to help you get acquainted with our church, keep up to date with upcoming events, and more!

Dear Friends,

Due to the situation with the coronavirus, below are several precautions and notes for what to expect if you attend Sabbath School and church service.

We understand these precautions are imperfect and could easily come across as arbitrary. We covet your grace and understanding as we attempt to to find a center line to follow.

Precautions & Notes

If you or an immediate family member has had fever, chills, difficulty breathing, or congestion as recently as this week, or you still have a noticeable cough, please remain at home.

We have made mask wearing optional, however, please feel free to continue to wear a mask. We can provide a mask if you don't have one or forget.

For the foreseeable future, we're going to pause the meet and greet welcome portion of the worship service. The service will also be more abbreviated than normal until we get our feet under us again and as we have enough people willing/able to contribute each week.

We're going to collect the offering at the back of the sanctuary at the end of the service. Or, if you'd prefer, you can give online.

Deacons will work to keep high traffic doors propped open as much as possible. Please use the main entrance to enter the building and the rest for exiting. This way we can focus on cleaning the appropriate door handles. Bathroom doors will be propped open as well.

Every other pew in the sanctuary will be reserved to provide more social distance. One family per pew. We'll open the overflow as needed.

We will have spray alcohol and GermX available in the foyer.

The hymnals and songbooks have been put away in favor of the projectors.

In an effort to limit the need for the water fountains, please bring a personal bottled water with you.

For those who are unable to attend, there are many online resources for sermons that you can listen to or watch as you have worship at home. Here are some we recommend:

https://www.amazingfacts.org/
https://www.audioverse.org/

YouTube is also a great resource for sermons by speakers like Ty Gibson, Stephen Bohr, and Walter Veith.

Be sure to also check out our channel on YouTube!

Let us keep our hope and faith in the Lord, that He will protect us all and our community, and provide for all those in need.

With Love,
Your ABV Family
